Capcom Europe announced today that it is releasing Hyper Street Fighter II for the PS2 in Europe on April 30th. The game will retail for £19.99 (US$36) and it will include a free copy of Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie.

Hyper Street Fighter II is the definitive collector's edition of Street Fighter II. It features 5 gameplay modes (Champion Edition, Turbo, Super, Super Turbo, and World Warriors) representing every game ever released under with the Street Fighter II title. The game's omake options include a gallery where you can see artwork and endings from all the games.

Hyper Street Fighter II released in Japan this past December 18th under the lengthy title Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition. It is still unconfirmed when Hyper Street Fighter II is coming to the US.
