Unleash the Force and raise havoc.

LucasArts' upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed fills in the events between Episodes III and IV. Following the rise of the Empire, Darth Vader took on a secret apprentice and assigned him the task of exterminating all remaining Jedi from the galaxy. Even though the backstory connects Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, it acts as an excuse for players to do what they've always wanted: take control of Force powers and completely cut loose with them with reckless abandon.
As Darth Vader's protege, players have access to all of the Force powers, including push, grip and lightning. An additional power called repulse creates a circle of telekinetic force around the player to push surrounding enemies away. Gamers can upgrade these abilities for devastating effects and chain them together into destructive combos. That means, instead of picking up one enemy at a time and throwing him through a wall, the player can pick up several and possibly throw them across more than one wall for efficient remodeling. The character can hold an enemy soldier in mid-air, strike him a few times with lightning and then toss him to the ground. One level takes players to Raxis Prime, a kind of junk yard planet, the perfect place to let those force powers. One can imagine the possibilities of having a trusty lightsaber used in combination with some of the moves.
Being a secret agent, the Secret Apprentice cannot leave witnesses behind. With that said, he deals with storm troopers with the same brutality as regular guards and Jedi. Jedi fugitives act as bosses, but the Secret Apprentice will also encounter Force-sensitive Felucians who will be able to throw back a little of what the player dishes out.
