For anyone who can't wait to join the Dark Side in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, video game cable network G4 will be airing a series of behind-the-scenes interviews and new footage from the game, following a one-hour general Star Wars segment with Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Ray Park (Darth Maul) and clips from the new Star Wars: The Clone Wars film, in theaters tomorrow.
Starting at 9 pm ET, the "X-Play Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Special," will show off new footage of Kashyyyk, Chewbacca's home planet, concept art for the Apprentice and a behind the scenes look at the music, sound design and tech that will be driving the game, which hits stores in September.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a new animated film (which will be followed by a game and TV series) that takes place between "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith." Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padme Amidala take on Sith lords in yet another battle in the galaxy far, far away. Critics have given the film mixed reviews so far. The Seattle Times says the animated film looks stunning but has a "lack of a dramatic arc" and The Sun says "when you clone a clone of a clone, you lose the original spirit."
Let's hope the Clone Wars TV show, which debuts this fall, and the upcoming Wii and DS games, out in November, fare better. Though news that Nintendo kept LucasArts in the dark about its MotionPlus Wii-mote add-on (which will allow you to waggle your Wii-mote more like a real lightsaber) gives us pause.
