Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA) today announced the nominations for the 2006 Home Entertainment Awards. This equals a total of 130 nominations in 26 categories. Among movies like Crash and Star Wars Episode III, there are also videogames like Halo 2 and Madden NFL 06.

"These nominations demonstrate that home entertainment delivers a multitude of choices for every taste and interest," said VSDA President Bo Andersen. "Our Home Entertainment Awards recognize those DVD and video game titles that have excelled in various categories. The awards also recognize and celebrate the extraordinary creative and strategic vision necessary to bring a product to the consumer in the highly competitive home entertainment market."
