Hudson Entertainment announced today that it is bringing Star Soldier R to WiiWare. The game is described as a "tournament-style outer space shooter" where players are prompted to get high scores in either a 2-Minute or 5-Minute Mode. There are three different control schemes for the Wii Remote alone or with the Nunchuk in addition to the Classic Controller.

"There is a lot of excitement surrounding WiiWare and we are proud that Star Soldier R will be one of the titles available on the platform," said John Greiner, President and CEO of Hudson Entertainment.
