Capcom announced today that Spyborgs is in development. This Wii title casts player in the role of five bionic superspies. Players can defeat a series of super villains using heavy firepower, martial arts or "acrobatic skateboarding skills" in a single or co-op play.

"Our goal is to maximize the potential of the innovative Wii Remote while delivering a new paradigm in cooperative game play," said Michael Haller, president, Bionic Games. "We also wanted to bring a lot of humor to the game which we feel we have accomplished. This game will make you laugh -- for all the right reasons."

Spyborgs is set to launch in 2009 exclusively for Wii.
