Will Wright Talks Spore at GDC (PC)

Although Will Wright isn't scheduled to appear in one of the official speaking sessions next week at the Game Developers Conference, the creator of The Sims and Spore (recently confirmed to launch on September 7) will in fact be at GDC as part of a special EA event, "An Evening with Will Wright and Friends."

You must register in order to get in (and that won't guarantee you a spot) as space will be quite limited. However, EA is encouraging as many GDC attendees to come as they can fit in, as this is the first time in a while that Wright is making a public speaking appearance. He will talk about game design, making Spore, and he'll take questions from the audience. Other EA executives will be present as well, including Neil Young who's hosting the event.

The event will be held at Mezzanine on 444 Jessie Street, starting at 6:30PM and Wright is expected to take the stage around 8:00PM. GameDaily BIZ will be there to bring you coverage.
