A few people are saying that uninstalling the EA downloader should fix the crashing issue. Hope this helps.

I am having the same problem as pixilachix, I downloaded and installed the program, also updated direct X and EA downloader, all the good stuff I was prompted to. I now click on the icon and it seems to get started, Takes me to the EA demo page at begining, then instead of taking me to the demo or something it just closes out and I am back to my desk top. Can anyone help us figure out what the problem is and a fix please!
