It's always great to see a platformer that doesn't become a massive collect-a-thon of random tokens, trinkets, and baubles. Spirits & Spells offers a great-sounding mechanic incorporating two different characters with unique skills that you can switch between any time in the game to get through puzzles and obstacles. However, the game is plagued with problems that make playing a chore.
