DreamCatcher Games' spooky platform title for the GameCube is headed to retailers...

According to DreamCatcher, Spirits & Spells is being aimed at children rather than a more mature audience. However, that doesn't mean old fogeys can't enjoy the game as well.
Players will take on the role of Alicia, a little girl disguised as a witch, or Greg, a young boy disguised as a devil. By alternating between the two characters (each with a specific set of skills), gamers will solve puzzles throughout 11 Halloween-type levels such as a haunted house, a dark scary cemetery, eerie forests and an abandoned laboratory. The goal is to eventually collect enough magical sparks to reverse the evil spell that has turned their friends to stone. For the very young crowd that might need some help, Spirits & Spells also features an imp to get players started with some useful game advice.
