The GameDaily One-Minute Review
Soul Calibur Legends is Namco Bandai's latest attempt to turn a fighting game into a fully integrated adventure. Although it ends up better than the disastrous Death By Degrees, it feels average. The visuals and music are on par with previous Soul Calibur games, but the gameplay never shifts into higher gear. You travel from room to room, beating up enemies and solving puzzles with one of seven characters. Occasional boss fights and tacked-on multiplayer/co-op modes do very little to liven things up. It's worth a rental, but it's hardly the stuff of Legends.User Reviews
