Today, Disney Interactive Studios announced that Dan Tudge has been named vice president and general manager of Propaganda Games. He will head up the operations at the 130-person Vancouver-based studio, currently working on two unannounced titles. Tudge will report to Mark Meyers, vice president of North American production for Disney Interactive Studios.

"Dan comes to Disney Interactive Studios with tremendous leadership experience in overseeing large development teams that release industry-leading products," said Jean-Marcel Nicolai, senior vice president of global production, Disney Interactive Studios. "Dan will play a crucial role in the continuous evolution of Propaganda Games as a premier game development studio."

Tudge managed his own independent studio, which evolved into Exile Interactive, which he became president and executive manager of. He later took senior leadership and creative roles at Relic Entertainment and Morgan Media. Tudge was most recently at BioWare as executive producer and project director working on Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood and Dragon Age: Origins.

When asked how Tudge's departure would affect the development of Dragon Age: Origins, a BioWare spokesperson reassured GameDaily BIZ that development is still progressing well. "Dan Tudge, has moved on to pursue another opportunity and we wish him well and appreciate his hard work on the project," read BioWare's short statement on the matter. "Mark Darrah, a BioWare veteran has assumed the role of Executive Producer."
