Even with its demanding controls and less-than-impressive visuals, this Skate video game is worth the ride.

In Skate It for Wii is you turn, flip, kick and perform other tricks using a combination of the Nunchuk, Wii remote and, if you have one, the Balance Board. Incorporating all three controllers takes time and patience, not to mention a lot of physical endurance. However, once mastered, you'll feel the sensation of riding a skateboard. Plenty of challenges will keep you busy, and there are a number of locations (London, Barcelona, Paris, Shanghai and Rio de Janeiro) to shred through, although the visuals look unimpressive. Skate It won't appeal to everyone, but it's as close to skateboarding as you can get without falling off the real thing and scraping your knees.
