The GameDaily One-Minute Review

SiN: Emergence is the first episodic game to be delivered over Steam to people's PC's. It's an action-packed shooter that takes full advantage of the Source engine. There's not much in the way of weapon or enemy variety, and the game is pretty short, but just about every minute of it is action packed. The dynamic difficulty system works very well, spawning tougher enemies in larger numbers or toning things down depending on how well the player is doing, compensating for their strong points. The result is a fast-paced action game that leaves players looking forward to Episode 2.
