Eidos has announced that ShellShock: Nam '67 has been pushed back until September 2004. The delay, which moves the game just about a month off its original August release date, is being implemented "to provide this important new franchise with a better opportunity to deliver its true potential.", this from Eidos' latest business update.
ShellShock: Nam '67, which is developed by Guerrilla Games, is an immersive action shooter set in the controversial Vietnam War. The game will provide plenty of action and atmosphere and features many of the atrocities that made the Vietnam War so gruesome and disturbing including napalm bombardments of civilian villages, Viet Cong (VC) booby traps, the permanent threat of invisible foes and deadly ambushes.
Expect to hear more about this exciting and controversial action shooter from Eidos as it prepares for deployment on the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC later this year.
