Can the folks who make a great PC hardware benchmarking tool also make great games? That's been the question ever since Futuremark, the creators of the 3DMark tool, announced plans for a PC game called Shattered Horizon about 18 months ago. Today the company released the first four true gameplay screenshots of the title on the game's official web site.As we have reported before Shattered Horizon takes place in the near future where a disaster has caused Earth's moon to partially break up and create a ring of massive moon debris around the planet. The game has players shooting each other in zero-g-space in that environment. There's still no word on a release date although they are still taking sign-ups for their upcoming beta test.
