Activision announced today that Madagascar has shipped over one million units to retail worldwide. The game is based on the DreamWorks Animation's feature film of the same title. Activision also announced that U.S. console and handheld sales for the months of April and May increased two-thirds over the same stretch last year.
"We are very pleased with the strong sales of our console and handheld titles," stated Ron Doornink, Chairman, Activision Publishing. "In addition, the success of Madagascar The Game further strengthens our already successful slate of AAA titles."
Madagascar is available on all major home consoles, GBA, DS, and PC.
