Sam and Max: The Mole, The Mob and the Meatball, the third in an ongoing series of short games, brings the popular duo face-to-face with the Toy Mafia hinted at in the previous episode. These mobsters run a Playland Casino and Sam & Max need to uncover their nefarious plot. It shouldn't take most players more than 30 minutes to finish this episode, even with all the tangential conversations. Unlike previous episodes, this one doesn't have as many pointed one-liners or gags, but it remains amusing nonetheless, much like a mid-season television show. The latest Sam & Max makes for a great distraction from more complex games and sets up the plot for the next episode.
