Always wanted to rock but could never got around to learning how to play that lonely set of drums in the corner? Guitar been gathering dust on the same wall hook for the past decade? Music wannabes, your day has come. Now you can form your own virtual crew in Rock Band and take over the world by "playing" songs using a combination of plastic axe, drumset and microphone. Jump right into the action or hand craft a band and take them to the height of rock stardom, just be sure not to get cocky – screw up too many shows and the fans will desert you, leaving your band stuck in dive bars. The online mode could use some work, and we wish the controllers were wireless, but even that new tangle of wires in our living room can't keep us from living this virtual rock 'n' roll fantasy.
