Apple Corps Ltd. (the company behind the Beatles' music catalog, not the company that makes the iPod) and MTV are holding a teleconference tomorrow morning, Thursday October 30, at 10am ET to announce an "exclusive agreement to develop an unprecedented global music project."

No other details about the announcement were provided, but considering MTV Networks is one of the forces behind the hit music-simulation game, Rock Band, there is speculation that the MTV has secured exclusive rights to release Beatles tracks for use in the Rock Band 2.
