Several months after its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 debut, Rock Band finally hits the Nintendo Wii. The port has several limitations, including the lack of online functionality, compressed video and audio, no character customization and a sorely missing World Tour mode. However, it's still an extravagant party game, especially when you have three other friends teaming up with you. The career-oriented modes are terrific, as you sing, drum and strum your way to rock superstardom. For Rock Star vets, tThe instrument peripherals are a lot of fun, particularly the drum set; it's actuallyare an improvement on the original model, especially the drum set with a sturdier foot pedal and less-noisy drum pads. If all you have is the Wii, this is one rRock party you shouldn't miss.
