Wii and PS2 owners of Rock Band may feel left out when it comes to downloadable songs, but Harmonix is determined to bring fans those extra tracks one way or another. Today, the developer and its parent company MTV Games announced that Rock Band Track Pack Volume 1 will be coming to the Wii and PS2 on July 15. Rock Band for the Wii ships on June 22, so less than a month after the release of the music game, consumers will be able to pick up Track Pack Volume 1 for $29.99.

Game Tips for Classic Solitaire

  • Game Tips for Classic Solitaire

Turn up the first card off the deck before making any other moves. It increases the initial number of possible moves and gives you the opportunity to make a better choice.

  • Game Tips for Classic Solitaire

Always move an Ace or Deuce to the foundation whenever it is possible. This rule seems to be clear and logical and does not need any further explanation.

Expose hidden cards. If you have a choice from several possible moves that expose hidden cards, choose column with the largest number of hidden cards.

  • Game Tips for Classic Solitaire

Hold off the moves that are not important. The best move is one that provides you with opportunity to make other moves or expose hidden cards.

  • Game Tips for Classic Solitaire

Do not empty a tableau pile if you do not have a King to put it in. You gain nothing if you get an empty pile. A space in Klondike solitaire can only be filled by a King or a sequence starting with a King, so leave your options open.

If you have a choice between a black King and a red King to fill a space with, be cautious in your decision. Look at the color of the blocking cards and make the appropriate color choice. For example, if you have a red Jack that blocks some hidden cards, you have to select a red King and than wait for a black Queen.

It's not an ideal situation for Wii and PS2 owners since they obviously can't pick individual tracks to download separately, but at least Harmonix is enabling these gamers to expand their Rock Band experience as well.

UPDATE: We pinged MTV to see if the release of Track Packs for Wii and PS2 is the company's strategy going forward, and if we'd see new Track Packs released every few months, but MTV would not confirm future Track Packs just yet. A spokesperson told us, "As of now, the Track Pack Volume 1 is our only confirmed offering for PS2 and Wii users. In terms of the possibility of future releases - we are leaving our options open."
