Capcom announced yesterday that Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening has shipped to stores nationwide. Devil May Cry 3 is a prequel to the first Devil May Cry, dealing with the history of Dante and his twin brother Vergil. This newest game allows players to upgrade and customize the way Dante fights, between different styles and an arsenal of weapons

"Devil May Cry 3 packs non-stop thrills and a captivating story line into one technologically advanced package," said Todd Thorson, director of marketing, Capcom Entertainment. "Action game fans are in for one hell of an experience."

Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening is rated "M" for Mature and is available exclusively on the PS2 for $49.99.
