One of the most technically impressive games available at the PlayStation 3 launch, Resistance: Fall of Man also ranks among its best. Full of creative weapons, the uneasy chaos of battle and some scary moments, this part-military, part-sci-fi shooter's single player campaign will keep discerning gamers busy with multiple difficulty levels and unlockable weaponry. On the multiplayer side, a smattering of online modes will form a dedicated online community, no doubt aided by the allure of the various weapons and the two well-balanced playable species. Too bad co-op wasn't an online option as well, but that's something to hope for in the inevitable sequel.
