Along with Capcom's recent second-quarter fiscal report, the Japanese publisher has issued some sales projections for several of its upcoming titles. A slide in its fiscal presentation materials for investors reveals that Capcom believes four titles in particular will drive sales for its second half of the year ending March 31, 2009.

The much anticipated Resident Evil 5 (Xbox 360, PS3), which won't launch here until March 13, is expected to sell 3.25 million units, the publisher said. The Resident Evil franchise has sold nearly 35 million units in its lifetime and it's Capcom's top-selling series (slightly ahead of Mega Man).

Street Fighter IV (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) is also expected to have a big impact with sales of 1.7 million units when it launches in "winter 2009." The Street Fighter series has sold over 25 million units to date.

Another top seller (slated for "early 2009") is the new Bionic Commando (Xbox 360, PS3, PC), which Capcom anticipates will sell 1.5 million units. Trailing the pack, but still expected to contribute a healthy 500,000 units sold, is Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop (Wii), which launches next February.
