RE 4 Wii Ships 1 Million (XB360)

Insert waggle controls into a two-year old game, and gamers can't get enough of it!

Capcom today announced that Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition has shipped over one million units worldwide. The SKU of the game, featuring special motion sensing controls configured specifically for the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, is rated "M" for Mature and is priced $29.99. The Resident Evil series, launched in 1996, is one of Capcom's most successful IPs, with over 33 million units shipped worldwide. Currently, they are working on another title in the series for Wii, titled Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. The next full-fledged sequel in the series, Resident Evil 5, is in production for PS3 and Xbox 360 but not Wii.
