Starting Tuesday, April 7, up to four players can go head-to-head in two new multiplayer games for Resident Evil 5. The downlodable add-on will let you play Slayer's Rule, where you kill Majinis (aka the game's 'infected' villagers) for points -- player with the most points at the end of the match wins. The pack will also include Survivor's Rule, a free-for-all deathmatch game. Choose to play as Chris, Sheva or "other secret characters" and let the hunting commence.

These Versus modes will be an addition to the game's current less-traditional multiplayer options -- two can play cooperatively through the game's story mode and through the unlockable Mercenaries mini game where you take out waves of progressively tougher enemies.

The new Versus download pack will cost $4.99 on the PlayStation Network or 400 Microsoft points on Xbox 360.
