Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest For Booty isn't the sequel to last year's Tools of Destruction. Rather, it's a piece of episodic content to fill the gap between that game and the real sequel set to arrive next year. That said, it's worth the $14.99 investment. The visuals and sound are on the same level as Destruction, while the action-oriented gameplay keeps up the pace. There's nothing of long-term value, no Captain Quark minigames or arena missions, but the journey is worth it.
