Ubisoft today announced that Dark Messiah of Might & Magic is in development. The game is the second title in the Might and Magic brand from Ubisoft since the company acquired the license in 2003. Dark Messiah of Might & Magic is expected to release on PC in Summer 2006.

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic is being developed by Arkane Studios, makers of Arx Fatalis. While little is known about the game, it will apparently be a first-person action game and not a pure RPG. The game will use Valve's Source engine to enhance AI, animation, physics and shading.
