DC Comics and Sierra Entertainment announced today plans to publish a comic book series based around the upcoming Prototype game. These comics will launch under the WildStorm imprint in August 2008. The game Prototype will revolve around Alex Mercer, a shape-shifter who must deal with shadowy government organizations and a viral breakout in New York City to uncover the secrets of his past.
