Ubisoft today announced that all gamers who pre-order the new Prince of Persia title will be upgraded to the Limited Edition version of the game for free. This collector's edition of the game features its own packaging, a Prima digital mini-strategy guide, a digital art book, a copy of the original soundtrack scored by Inon Zur and more.

In addition to this, Ubisoft also announced a special partnership with Penny Arcade. The web-comic creators will make a 32-page comic book detailing the new Prince of Persia title and the relationship between the main characters: Elika and the Prince.

The new Prince of Persia game will release late 2008 on PS3, PC and Xbox 360 with the accompanying Prince of Persia: The Fallen King releasing on DS during the same time period.
