The GameDaily One-Minute Review

Namco Bandai's Point Blank DS is a game that on paper just isn't supposed to work. The concept of creating a light gun shooter sans the gun shouldn't be entertaining, yet I can't stop playing this game. Rapidly tapping the touch screen and blowing up targets (as well as hitting enemy crabs) is just lots of fun, whether I'm attempting to run through the difficult stages in the game's single player mode or frantically competing against a friend in wireless multiplayer. I wish there were a lot more mini games, and Brain Massage Mode is a little corny in light of Brain Age and Big Brain Academy, but if you can track down a copy of Point Blank DS (and doing that is no easy feat), I strongly recommend that you purchase it.
