Sony's PlayStation Home, the first online-only social community for the PlayStation Network has been adding loads of new residents into the current beta version of the game. Now the company has confirmed to Joystiq that the company plans for an open beta phase before the end of the year. Given that there are three weeks left in 2008, that's really soon.
Terms or conditions for that open beta were not revealed but as rumors continue to claim that the service is close to launch, the only thing we can promise is that more players will be inside the Home universe before New Years. The free to play game, when launched, will offer clothing, furniture and other items for sale.
