With over 45 million downloads for the PC and Mac (and the new console version too), Peggle is now set to conquer the iPhone / iPod Touch as PopCap, the game's maker, announced that its game is now available.

For a mere $4.99, the new edition of the game adds a new zoom feature to give seasoned players more precise controls, a new trophy system and a new interface that's optimized for iPhone/iPod Touch users. Of course, hardcore players never even made it past the headline before they looked for the new game on Apple's App Store.
