Sega of America has announced that Otogi 2: Immortal Warriors has shipped to retailers throughout North America. The game, which was developed by From Software and is the sequel to hit action title Otogi: Myth of Demons, has players assume the role of resurrected character, Raikoh, as he battles demons in some of the most intense combat on consoles today.


Here are some of the game's key features:

  • Five playable new heroes join Raikoh and become more powerful as the player acquires items that increase their strength and abilities
  • Players actions effect stages and their progression, allowing for several different endings
  • Story Mode and an all new, Havoc Mode focuses on pure destruction
  • An entirely new engine offers vastly improved graphics and more realistic physics

    The game takes place directly after the events chronicled in the original Otogi when Raikoh, the famed undead warrior, managed to temporarily save the Japanese population from an onslaught of demons, but had not been able to vanquish them all before returning to his grave. The demons have now resurfaced from hiding places within the sacred capital of Japan, and they are attempting to take control of man once more. In response, five brave warriors take their own lives in a ritual to resurrect Raikoh. Raikoh rises again and the five selfless warriors rise with him, all set to take on the encroaching demon spawn as a team.
