IGN is reporting that Tecmo president Yasuharu Kakihara revealed that Team Ninja is working on three new games. This announcement came during a press conference in Tokyo revealing the company's upcoming lineup. Team Ninja, the group responsible for the Dead or Alive series and the recently released Ninja Gaiden II, is being headed up by Jin Hasegawa and will reveal its three new titles at Tokyo Game Show.

Tecmo has seen its share of tribulations over the Summer, with former Team Ninja head Tomunobu Itagaki leaving and suing the company and other employees taking legal action over unpaid wages. Tecmo's then president Yoshimi Yasuda was identified as the central figure behind these labor disputes, and left the company for "personal reasons." This past week, Square Enix proposed a friendly takeover to the Tecmo board of directors, an offer that will expire September 4.
