The GameDaily One-Minute Review
Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden Black is a special edition of the previous Xbox title and features several enhancements over its critically-acclaimed predecessor. Not only are both Hurricane Packs included, but so is the extremely dated arcade game as well as a Mission Mode that allows you to select which boss you'd prefer to get your ass kicked by. Gameplay as well as the single player game remains unchanged, so what you're getting is all of this content shoved onto a single disc that costs a measly $29.99. With so many goodies no one should have any reservations about picking this game up, especially since it's simply a stunning piece of work. It's also a lot more difficult than its predecessor, so if you didn't feel challenged enough by the prequel, this version promises to bludgeon the hell out of you.
