Nerf N-Strike is essentially The House of the Dead for kids, except instead of shooting flesh-eating zombies, players blast robots and cardboard cutouts. It's a Nerf fan's dream as it comes bundled with a Switch Shot EX-3 Blaster that functions as both a real-life Nerf weapon and a Wii remote holder. In addition, the game features a stack of Nerf guns, including the Vulcan EBF-25, the Longshot CS-6 and the Firefly Rev-8, all of which feature varying rates of fire. Numerous minigames await trigger happy gamers, including one that reminds us of another Wii offering, Boom Blox, where players take turns shooting blocks to reveal the target. Adults will probably grow bored within an hour, and paying $59.99 for the bundle (with no option to purchase the game by itself) feels expensive, but N-Strike will appeal to kiddies as well as parents who don't want their children firing real darts in their homes.
