The GameDaily One-Minute Review
Electronic Arts created Need for Speed ProStreet to kick start its tedious racing franchise, ditching underground night racing for Day Events in which drivers compete for the crown of Street King. Yet despite the impressive physics engine, car damage and the bread and butter ability to transform a so-so looking vehicle into a supped-up ride, the game failed to hold our interests. Sure, it moves fast, and the online options deliver a sweet community aspect, but the 1/4-mile drag events suck, the game at times looks jaggier than a shark's mouth and the drab presentation denies it much needed personality. It's a decent racer, but not sexy enough to rev our engines.User Reviews
