Over 750 turn out for Montréal summit

Alliance numériQC announced today that the Montréal International Game Summit (MIGS) was a success. According to the Québec based digital and multimedia industry network, over 750 participants gathered from North America and Europe gathered in Montreal from November 2-3, 2005. Among the more than 40 speakers at MIGS was Warren Spector, who gave his now famous tirade about Rockstar at the event.
"We are really proud of this second edition, which was a total success on all fronts. We knew we had a top notch event, and this year's turnout is a testament to the growing interest from professionals in our industry," said Gilles Bertrand, general manager, Alliance numériQC. "The success of this year's Summit proves once again the importance of such an event at an international level. I am thrilled to announce that the 2006 edition of the MIGS will be held on November 1 and 2, 2006."
