The GameDaily One-Minute Review

Get ready to "Act-A-Fool" in Midway's basketball video game, NBA Ballers: Chosen One. Like previous entries in the series, you'll go up against professional hoops players on a myriad of high profile and outlandish courts, except in addition to going one-on-one, you can play two-on-two and one-on-one-on-one. These options make the game and the trash talking more exciting, especially as you bust out crazy moves with the new combo system, hitting buttons in succession before your opponent. On the downside, Midway didn't update its roster (Jason Kidd plays for Dallas, not New Jersey), the story mode (what there is of it) makes no sense and the artificial intelligence is quite boneheaded. We dig Ballers for its multiplayer mode, but that's not enough to warrant a $60 purchase. That is, unless you make Kobe Bryant millions.
