Gameplay could've used some pep. Without Total Team Control, players will find themselves stuck cruising around with a minimal interface. Sure, the races offer some intense moments, especially against the AI opponents and friends in online play, but otherwise, it offers little reward. Even the Season mode feels short-handed. The player gets the cup and...no gratification past that.


With next year's release, EA should put Total Team Control and the career mode back into the game, enrich the online racing experience, install more kick into the presentation and, for crying out loud, bring back the real NASCAR drivers and not these emotionless Body Snatcher-like drones.
