While not Naruto's finest game, this adventure/fighter hybrid should satisfy fans.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm tries to mix the best the anime series has to offer: fierce and over-the-top fighting with exploration and story. Sadly, the latter half doesn't pan out so well. The fighting is fun throughout, with an easy to use combo system and amazing combat animations, but the adventuring portion falls short, with uninteresting characters and dialogue. You'll be hard pressed to find a better looking Naruto game, however, with amazing cel-shaded characters (25 in all), vistas and gigantic bosses that make trudging through the adventure worthwhile. A lot could be improved in a future iteration, but the game should please most fans.
