GameStop Corp. today announced the GameStop/EB Games Charity Challenge. The company will give consoles and copies of Madden 07 to charities across the nation, starting with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. The "challenge" part comes in NFL greats Tim Brown and Kordell Stewart playing to win money for their own respective charities.
"GameStop and EB Games stores host tournaments around the world, all year long, but, we know that not all young gamers have the opportunity to get out and compete," said Daniel DeMatteo, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of GameStop Corp. "Today we are bringing tournament action to young gamers and teaming up with two great former NFL players to make it happen."
