MotoGP offers wonderful online racing options, allowing hardcore bikers to battle against each other for pride, pink slips and other rewards. The Xbox Live-supported races work mostly without a hitch, aside from occasional slowdown.

Presentation-wise, the game holds steady -- mostly. Once in a while, it suffers from a lack of polish. The cut scenes could've used some retooling to look more life-like and the slowdown could've been done away with. That aside, the courses look awesome, the bike details are realistic and the crashes make us wince. In the audio department, the motorcycle engines sound like the real deal.

Fans of the MotoGP racing circuit and previous games will love this latest entry, but it's obvious that the series needs something extra to keep up with the likes of Project Gotham Racing 4 and other competitors. It's still a very good racing game with options, but so was last year's.
