Electronic Arts and developer DICE today revealed the official launch date for the much talked about parkour-based action title Mirror's Edge. On November 11, the game will hit both Xbox 360 and PS3 and it's slated to arrive on the PC later this "winter," which could potentially mean early next year after the holiday season.

EA also said that it will provide Xbox 360 and PS3 owners with a taste of the game in the form of a downloadable demo in the near future. Additionally, starting on September 26, players who pre-order Mirror's Edge at "selected retailers" will receive an exclusive code that unlocks the Time Trial mode in the demo.

"Mirror's Edge is bringing something new to the action-adventure genre this holiday by putting the player in the shoes of the hero, seeing what she sees, feeling what she feels," says Owen O'Brien, Senior Producer, DICE. "We wanted to create an entirely new experience, with a different type of heroine and a world that not only looks fresh and new but has unique gameplay."
