The GameDaily One-Minute Review
At once, this is the best Metroid game ever... and one of the worst. The graphics and sound are amazing, especially for the little handheld, and the control is perfectly honed. In fact, looking at the original Metroid (unlocked in the game once you beat it), you can see how Metroid: Zero Mission shines. However, at a scant four hours for this gamer, the great experience of the game is extremely short-lived. After the straight ports we're used to from Nintendo and their GBA development, Metroid: Zero Mission is a breath of fresh air (even for a "remake"), but it shows there's still a way to go.User Reviews
