omg you're kidding. You're comparing METROID to HALO?! That's like comparing A sandwich with an AK-47. Sure, Metroid's got gunning now, but doesn't almost every game on the 360 and PS3 that's worth a rip got it? Metroid's charm is in its innovative puzzles and gargantuanly epic boss fights. Like the Ridley fight, which will likely go down in history as one of the greatest boss fights in existence. Also, the ps3 has, what, three good games? The only ones that look worth a purchase are Ratchet and Clank, Resistance, and COD4 (which I got for the 360 anywhos!)

I own this game, I played it as soon as I got it, and it was great. But something felt off right off the bat. Once I started playing it felt more and more like Halo than the more common feel of exploration. People said it was more like a run and gun but they were right. Still gets top marks from me. Answering the above comment and the question, Does Nintendo still have a place for the hardcore? I say no, they'll bring up their hardcore franchises, and make them all mainstream. Sony will win the console war, but get rid of sixaxis, its retarded.

this might be the only good game the wii ever realy made.... nintendo had a good start but when they started making games like: "boogie" and "cooking mama" they kind of lost their touch. nintendo always baosts about selling more consoules than the ps3, but what they failed to mention was that their sales are down and ps3 sales are up. and just as I predicted, Sony will win the console war....again, and then no one will ever doubt their systems again.
