The GameDaily One-Minute Review
Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence is one of the most entertaining value packs in videogame history. A retelling of 2004's fantastic MGS3, the original game features a new behind the back perspective, six difficulty levels, and new face paint and camouflage, but beyond the epic single player adventure there's also Demo Theater, which lets you watch all of the game's cut scenes, the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake videogames, a special Duel Mode that allows you to battle any of the game's bosses, new maps for Snake Vs Monkey, and a very robust online mode that features several thrilling game types as well as buddy lists and detailed stat tracking, all for just $29.99. Epic, bold, and immensely enjoyable, MGS 3: Subsistence is one of the best titles of 2006.
