The anticipated Mercenaries sequel is now getting a mobile version. I-play will have the duties of bringing the game and its Venezuelan setting to cell phones.

I-play today announced that it has signed a mobile development deal with Pandemic Studios. Under terms of this agreement, the mobile entertainment company will make a version of Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for cell phones. The Mercenaries 2 mobile game will launch simultaneous with the PS2, PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 versions of the game in early 2008.
